About Richelle | Portland Math Tutor
Hi, I’m Richelle Aries, founder of Do the Math. I’m a math tutor and educator who supports elementary through high school students, including neurodivergent leaners. My own experience as a neurodivergent student shaped how I teach and why I’m passionate about helping students feel confident in math.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with an emphasis in Education, Cal Poly Humboldt
Secondary Teaching Credential in High School Mathematics
Experience teaching underserved student populations
Founder of Do the Math Tutoring (est. 2017)
Richelle provides in-person math tutoring in the Portland, OR Metro Area, and online tutoring for students nationwide.
